RSS feeds and Blog Entries

I have learned something new about RSS feeds. If I edit a blog entry, the RSS feed assigns it a new post date.

I don't suppose that matters, but I thought it was something worth mentioning.

Bottle has the beginnings of a cataract. He is essentially blind in one eye. Some of the kids call him Patch, now, since the days he was wearing that bandage.

He's a good dog and a good sport. He stays clear of Cocoa these days. If he sees her outside, he runs home.

Eye Scratch

Bottle got his eye scratched by Cocoa, the cat next door. He was playing too rough, and I think he scared Cocoa.

John and I want half-in each on the Vet bill. Bottle will be partially blind most likely. We're not sure if they can save his sight.

He was in a lot of pain. But they put an intravenous tube in him just like they do with people. And he was kept comfortable overnight. He has a patch on, and I wish I had called him Pirate instead of Bottle.

I suppose we should put our photos in an album and get them all organized. Who knows how many more like this we have tucked here and there.

There are so many good things to say.

I have adopted two cats, and my dog, Bottle, is having a ball. That first day, he didn't know what to make of them, but it has been a week now, and he is a changed dog.

They spend hours playing. I think he's much happier now. Not so lonely when I go to work. He has stopped attacking the curtains on the patio door!
